Throughout my whole life, I have never had difficulties for coming across with true maniacs. It even includes the plant kingdom. I’ve met Senecio, ‘the old man’, two years ago. Those were the days I was experimenting with all the plants I found around and Senecio was one of them. I thought to myself 'who is this maniac dominating the whole scene with all these bright yellow flowers while all the others are dying because it’s the autumn?’. It gave satisfying results as a dye plant and I’ve gladly collected lots of its infloresence and left them in shade to dry. After a few days, when I came back to check how they were doing, there were neither any yellow nor any flowers left. All the infloresence had turned into its seed form -seen in my hand here- that had an ability to spread with wind. In other words, the flowers preferred turning themselves into seeds instead of being my dye. They all spreaded around with my single touch. After this experience, I’ve never used Senecio as a dye plant again. I could have tried to prove that I’m smarter than 'him’ by freezing or instantly boiling its flowers but, preferred not to.
